Several people were left injured after a Glasgow bus was 'forced' to brake sharply.

First Bus said one of its services had to brake quickly on Balgrayhill Road in Springburn due to the 'actions of another vehicle'.

The incident took place at around 4pm on Tuesday, April 16.

Following it, the bus company said three passengers were left injured, however, they were treated at the scene by emergency service crews.

Now, the firm has said they hope all the travellers involved are 'recovering well'.

A spokesperson for First Bus said: "We can confirm an incident took place on Balgrayhill Road in Springburn at around 4pm yesterday where one of our buses was forced to brake sharply due to the actions of another vehicle.

“This resulted in injuries to three passengers on board who were treated at the scene by emergency services.

“We hope all three passengers are recovering well and would like to apologise to all customers involved.”
