THE body of a young woman has been found in a city centre flat.
Police were called to the apartment in Blythswood Court in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The body of the 30-year-old woman was found and an investigation is now taking place.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At around 3am on Saturday December 2 the body of a 30-year-old woman was found within a flat at 56 Blythswood Court, Glasgow.
"A post-mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
"However, police are treating the death as unexplained at this time.
"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal and enquiries are ongoing."
