RODDIE John L. 21 November, 1937 Age 74 Retired from Schlumberger Doll Research as a Facilities Manager in Ridgefield, CT. He was a proud member of three Masonic Lodges Lodge 65 Westport, CT, Lodge 200 Bunnell, FL and Lodge 130 Henrico Union, Sandston, VA. He was born in Bargeddie, Lanarkshire, by Glasgow, Scotland. Son of James Roddie and Agnes Lamie Roddie. Husband of Mary Laverty Roddie (Born Govan, Scotland) (deceased Connecticut, USA), he is survived by his two daughters Joanne Roddie Smith and Karen Roddie Arpie and his two grandsons, Christopher Ryan Smith and Daniel John Arpie. Son-in-law Paul Smith and devoted family friend Tom Muzyka. He is survived by his brothers James Roddie, David Roddie and sisters Mary Bowden, Marion Roddie and a large loving family of nephews, nieces and cousins. There will be small private memorials in Sandston, Virginia and Bargeddie, Scotland. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to www.therightstepforross.co.uk.
