KIRKWOOD LEN. Peacefully at home, on 11th June 2017, ex-employee of House of Fraser. Loving husband of Margaret, loving dad of Steven and Elaine. Cherished father-in-law to Elaine and loving Papa to Katie and Reilly. Funeral will take place on Monday, 26th June at Craigton Crematorium (entrance off Paisley Road West) at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please.

I have just read the notice sent to me about Len Kirkwood that he had passed away in June 2017. I am so very sad and sorry for his family who I know must have loved him dearly. I knew Len so many years ago when we were teenagers and had the same group of friends in Cardonald. My maiden name was NaN Hamilton and now live in the USA beside our daughter. My husband comes from Rutherglen. I still have a few photos of Len and he must have been about 17/18. I truly was very sad to hear he had passed away. Nan McFadyen
