Hannah Miley says she’s very excited to get the chance to compete in front of a Scots crowd at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The Scots swimmer, who is the world short course and European and Commonwealth 400m individual medley champion, is currently preparing for the British Gas International Meet this weekend. The competition will be her first international swimming competition on home soil since the 2012 Olympics.

However, Miley says she is relishing the chance to get to compete in two home competitions during her career.

The Scot will be looking to test herself at the start of 2013, which will culminate in the world championships in Barcelona this summer where she will be aiming to go one better than the silver she won in Shanghai in 2011.
