I returned to Scotland in 2007 after cutting my teeth as a news journalist in north London. Have since developed my interest in crime, courts and the human condition with a number of big assignments, including the Peter Tobin story, the Moira Jones case and the perjury prosecution of Tommy Sheridan. Also survived two weeks in Afghanistan (just about).
