A GLASGOW hospice hosted a special afternoon tea to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

The Prince and Princes of Wales Hospice hosted the pop-up party for retired volunteers at the Grand Central Hotel.

It was a trip down memory late for the 30 volunteers who have worked at the Carlton Place hospice throughout the last three decades.

Hospice bosses paid tribute to their dedication and hard work over the years.

In October, Britain's Got Talent singer Susan Boyle joined other famous entertainers for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice 30th Anniversary Variety Performance.

The show, which also featured singer Darius Campbell and television presenter Carol Smillie was held to raise money to built a new hospice in Glasgow.

The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice's Brick By Brick Appeal, which is supported by the Evening Times, aims to raise £15million to create a new facility next to Bellahouston Park.

The hospice is planning to move from Carlton Place to the purpose-built hospice which will be four times bigger than the existing building.
