RONNY DEILA will be a man on triple mission in Inverness tomorrow.

The Hoops boss wants to take another three points towards clinching his first title as Celtic manager.

But, he has also challenged his players to lay down a marker ahead of next weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final against Caley Thistle.

And he would like to show the Hoops are a much better side than the one which lost 1-0 on their previous visit to capital of the Highlands, back in August.

As he prepared to lead his squad north, Deila said: "I think it is both an opportunity to take three points and lay down a marker for the cup tie at Hampden.

"So, it is important we win the game and put in a very good performance that will make it easier in the semi-final, as well.

"We want to put Inverness under pressure and show them we are a really good team.

"We lost there at the start of the season, but we have a stronger team now.

"And we will not make the same number of changes we did the last time we played in Inverness.

"That was a lot because we were still involved in trying to qualify for the Champions League at that time."

These days, Celtic seldom lose goals, let alone games, and Wednesday saw Craig Gordon and Co. notch up yet another clean sheet in the win over Partick Thistle.

Deila takes great pride in this improvement in their defending and reckons they are now the tightest unit in Europe.

He said: "We have only conceded 14 goals in 30 league matches.

"That's very, very good, and I think it is the best record in Europe."

Gordon's outstanding form has kept Lukasz Zaluska on the sidelines.

The Pole has made just four appearances this season, two of them against Inverness.

His contract is up in a couple of months. And, six years after arriving at Parkhead as a Bosman from Dundee United, the 32-year-old looks set to move on.

Deila said: "We know his contract is up, but we haven't decided what we are going to do further.

"Lukasz has done a good job here, and is a very good player and person.

"We will see what is happening."

Leo Fasan is the current No.3, but Celtic have recently been linked with a move for Dundee's Scott Bain.

"We have to bring in one more goal keeper if Lukasz is leaving," confirmed Deila.

The club are also very much in the market for more defenders.

Jason Denayer is set to return to Manchester City after his loan season, while Deila still wants cover for Emilio Izaguirre at left-back.

On the other side of the field, it could be next season before Mikael Lustig is fit to play again.

The 28-year-old Swede has not played for two months due an ankle and foot injury.

Deila is reluctant to officially write off Lustig for the season, but conceded: "His recovery is very, very slow.

"It is a bone bruise and an injury we can't do anything with. It just has to heal with time.

"It is frustrating for him and for us.

"Hopefully, there is still time for him to come back this season. But, you don't know."
