Celtic hitman Stokes one strike from 20-goal target

FORSTER (7) Clearly irked to have shipped three at Fir Park and missing out on least-conceded record.

Nothing was going to pass him on this occasion, including Doran's penalty.

MATTHEWS (7) Back after another lengthy lay-off with hamstring trouble, immediately showed in advanced positions. Forced Brill into excellent stop first half.

AMBROSE (7) Looked more tuned in than was the case last weekend at Motherwell. Important headed clearance in first half from Williams and popped up to head goal No.5.

VAN DIJK (7) Didn't appear to be out of second gear at any stage. Harshly penalised for trip on Mackay to give Inverness second-half penalty.

IZAGUIRRE (7) Was up and down the left flank as though on rails. Heading to World Cup in fine form.

BROWN (7) Back to his usual standard after an off-day in the previous outing. Happy to remain in midfield and steer clear of any more time at right-back.

JOHANSEN (6) Not quite as sharp as looked a month or so ago, but still lively enough to burst into box to win penalty.

MULGREW (7) Having recovered from his hamstring problem, provided the midfield foundation for others to get forward, while also getting into the opposition box himself on occasions.

COMMONS (7) Not at his best, but still provided assists for final two goals. Early chance to make it 29 for season thwarted by good save by Brill.

STOKES (8) Chasing 20 goals for the season, and gave another energetic performance to move within one. Scored opener with well-placed header from Griffiths corner, drilled home second before break then completed hat-trick from spot before cracking another shot off bar.

GRIFFITHS (7) Appeared oblivious to Green Brigade pre-match protest about his alleged off-field behaviour. Focused instead on buzzing about the front line when confronted by the team he scored hat-trick against last month. Set up first two goals, then scored fourth.

LUSTIG (5) First appearance since hip op in December when he replaced Matthews on 68 minutes.

PUKKI (6) On for Stokes after 71 minutes, enough time to fire in No.6 with first shot.

HENDERSON (4) Took over from Mulgrew for final 19 minutes.
