The 41-year-old has just left Dundee after falling out with boss John Brown, and it remains to be seen what his next move will be.

JOHAN MJALLBY

enjoying a successful coaching career assistant to Neil Lennon. The Swede spent a year in Spain with Levante after leaving Celtic before returning to his homeland. He enjoyed some media work with Swedish TV before teaming up with Lennon three years ago. BOBO BALDE

working as a team co-ordinator for Guinea. Has retired from the game and lives in the south of France, but has recently taken up the post with his country whereby he organises training facilities and flights, and much of the behind-the-scenes work. Has not ruled out going into management at some stage.

JOOS VALGAEREN

believed to have retired three years ago after spells with Club Brugge in Belgium and FC Emmen in Holland. Had a fabulous time at Celtic in the intial stages of his Parkhead career but seemed to fall out of love with the game.

ALAN THOMPSON

Teamed up with Lennon and Mjallby, but was dismissed at the end of last season. He had entered coaching after finishing his playing career when he went back to Newcastle. Has returned to the north of England, but is currently without a club.

STILIYAN PETROV

The midfielder, the youngest member of the starting XI, has just announced his retirement as he battles acute leukemia. The Bulgarian left Celtic for Aston Villa but has spent the last 14 months fighting his illness. Currently in remission but plans on setting up a charity to help others in a similar position.

NEIL LENNON

Has gone on to tremendous success as Celtic manager. Took over after the debacle of the Tony Mowbray regime and swiftly turned it around. Has so far won two league titles and competed well in the Europa League and the Champions League. With his stock currently riding high, it remains to be seen whether or not Celtic can hang on to him this summer.

PAUL LAMBERT

Another who went down the managerial route. Started off at Livingston before heading south and building his reputation in the lower leagues with Wycombe and Colchester before moving to Norwich and then Aston Villa. Has endured a tough season in the Premier League.

DIDIER AGATHE

Never captured the heights following the departure of Martin O'Neill from Celtic. When he hung up his boots he headed home to La Reunion, where he set up his own coaching academy. He teamed up with Celtic, who offered kit and equipment, and remains in contact with the Parkhead side.

CHRIS SUTTON

Played a spot of cricket after retiring but then took a step into management. Was unsuccessful in going for the Inverness Caley job in 2009, but then took over at Lincoln. Left the post for family reasons, but then made a surprise return to playing last year as a substitute for Wroxham, the same day as his 16-year-old son made his debut as a goalkeeper. HENRIK LARSSON MAN of the match in Seville. He left Celtic the following season and went on to star with Barcelona and Man U. Lifted two league titles with Barca as well as the Champions League. He went into management with Swedish Second Division side Landskrona, but left over a year ago and is currently without a club.

JACKIE McNAMARA Another who opted for a management career. Cut his teeth at Firhill before heading to Tannadice midway through this season.

ULRIK LAURSEN

Retired in 2010 after a spell with Copenhagen.

SHAUN MALONEY

IS finally fulfilling the potential he had always shown. Has just finished his most productive season to date with Wigan and is believed to be heading to one of the top Premier League sides this summer.
