ZALUSKA (6) Had to be wary of dead bounces when shots did reach him.

Never looked in any great danger of conceding.

MATTHEWS (7) Somehow, despite conditions, managed to keep his kit pristine for the first two-thirds of the match. Got forward more as the game progressed, and tried his best to continue his scoring streak.

LUSTIG (6) Moved to central defence for the day, and had his hands full trying to contain Raith's lone striker, Brian Graham.

WILSON (7) Captain for the day and always made himself available to take passes, even though the ball was sticking and bobbling.

MULGREW (6) Back to left-back, and looked comfortable trying to move forward and link up with men ahead of him. But stuck with it and scored an excellent goal.

KAYAL (6) Needs games, and it showed in this rare start. Was not as influential as he can be as the conditions demanded the ball was knocked from back to front.

WANYAMA (7) His strength was very important in the centre of the park, and his height was even more invaluable when the ball was played high into the Celtic box.

LEDLEY (6) Frustration was clear for all to see as he struggled to find his best form. But, set up Mulgrew for his goal, so got his reward for putting in a shift.

COMMONS (7) Tried to float between midfield and the strikers, which was tough to do on a pudding of a pitch. But, stuck at it, cleverly drawing foul for the penalty which he converted impressively.

HOOPER (8) Worked very hard to try and hold the ball up and keep Raith pinned back. Had few sights of goal, but set up Forrest for his goal, and workrate made him an important contributor to the victory.

WATT (6) Tough shift in the wide areas, and could have got into dangerous central areas more often.

BROWN (5) Came on for Kayal after an hour, and should have sealed game when presented with good chance at 1-0, but shot wide.

FORREST (6) Replaced Watt for last half hour, and immediately caused problems with his pace. Goal was well-worked and well-deserved.

STOKES (5) On for Commons after 76 minutes, but ran into too many cul-de-sacs when team-mates were in better position.
