Celtic man-by-man: Izaguirre is Lenny's head Bhoy

FORSTER (6) Might have reacted a little quicker to race from his goal-line at the first Juventus goal but wasn't at fault for the second and third goals.

LUSTIG (6) Always willing to make himself available for a pass and put in a number of dangerous crosses which caused the Juventus defence no end of problems.

AMBROSE (4) Blundered badly just three minutes into the match when he was caught day-dreaming, missed a great chance when he fluffed a header from close range and then gifted Juventus their third goal.

WILSON (6) Struggled in the opening 20 minutes as Celtic tried to cope with the Juve strikeforce but came on to a game and used his pace to his side's advantage.

IZAGUIRRE (7) One of his best performances in a long time. Defended really well and was a constant threat at the other end as he delivered numerous quality crosses from the left.

BROWN (6) The captain gave it everything he had but there were times when he surrendered possession cheaply and was turned by Marchisio before he netted his team's second goal.

WANYAMA (6) Has delivered some devastating displays in the Champions League this season and looked the part at some stages of the game and off the pace at others.

MULGREW (6) His delivery wasn't up to his usual high standard and he failed to influence the game. Not one of his better displays.

FORREST (5) Handed his first start since returning from injury and played pretty much as a striker but never managed to get much joy from a typically well organised Italian defence.

HOOPER (5) Non-existent. Celtic turned down big bids to keep him for this match but the striker received no service and was kept at bay throughout by an excellent Juventus defence.

COMMONS (6) Came agonisingly close with an overhead kick which drifted just wide and had another decent effort which forced a low save from Buffon.

MATTHEWS (3) Took over from the injured Lustig during the second half but didn't manage to make any real impact.

WATT (2) Replaced Commons but hardly got a kick of the ball.

KAYAL (2) Brought on in place of Brown but Celtic were already heading to defeat by then.
