Neil Lennon's side are unbeaten after 24 Premiership fixtures and face Aberdeen this weekend aiming to move another step closer to defending their Scottish Cup crown this term.

And Ambrose reckons it will be a campaign to remember if they can remain unbeaten between now and May.

He said: "Our level of concentration is high as we are trying to do something that no-one believes we can do.

"I believe Celtic have the edge to keep doing new things every year, and I believe this is our year to do great things after going out of the Champions League.

"We are putting a smile on the fans' faces.

"This shows our great potential, along with the great zeal we have to achieve great things and make things better in the future.

"This is the most important thing for us now, to improve in every game we play."

Celtic have been in fine form throughout the campaign as they have stormed into a commanding position in the title race and the latter stages of the Scottish Cup.

And Ambrose has praised boss Neil Lennon for inspiring the free-flowing Hoops.

"This is the style of play the gaffer wants us to play," the defender told the Celtic View.

"He encourages us, talks to us, motivates us in training and pushes us hard. He constantly wants the best from us so I believe he helps us a lot by the winning mentality he has put into the team.

"He will always tell us that it will be difficult and we have to be at our best so that is why we are playing so well just now."
