THE famous Champions League theme tune won't ring round Celtic Park tomorrow night ahead of the game with Dinamo Zagreb.

But I am confident the Parkhead crowd will inspire Ronny Deila's side to success as they look to take a big step towards qualification for the next round of the Europa League.

After a draw with Salzburg a couple of weeks ago, Celtic can go top of Group D with victory over Zagreb and that is the aim Ronny will set his players.

I would be surprised if Celtic Park was full for the game tomorrow night but there will still be a good atmosphere inside the stadium and that should inspire the home players.

It is not the Champions League and Dinamo aren't in the same bracket as the likes of Barcelona or Juventus but it is still an important game for Celtic and the fans will get right behind their team as always.

You have to use playing at home to your advantage, regardless of the tournament you are in or the opposition you are up against.

There is less glamour to ties like this and the atmosphere won't be the same but there will still be a good crowd and a lot of support for Celtic and the players have to make use of that and feed off it.

It is vital they get off to a good start and get the fans on their side early on.

No matter what competition you are in, you need to win your home games if you are going to be successful and that is why the Dinamo game is so important.

It is a big night for Ronny. He has been under scrutiny since he got the job and a win and a good performance would be a major boost to him.

That is how you get people on side and make them believe in you, winning games and playing well.

If there are people who need convincing that he is the right man for the job, he could go a way to alleviating those fears tomorrow night.

The important thing is to be winning games and Celtic deserved to win the match against St Mirren on Saturday. It is a case of building on results and gaining momentum.

The game tomorrow night will be a test for Celtic. Dinamo are top of their league and had a good result in their first Europa League game against FC Astra a couple of weeks ago.

These games will probably be more of a test and more difficult for Celtic than some of the league games they will play. They have had a few wins in the Premiership and not been consistent enough.

Ronny will know his side need a good display tomorrow if they are to win it. Games like this will give a good indication as to whether Celtic are going to progress from this group or not.For years, Celtic's home form was the foundation for any success they had in European competition and they struggled a lot on the road.

More recently, the form at Celtic Park hasn't been as convincing while some of the performances away have been decent.

They have won away from home and Ronny will be looking to win at home now.

It might not be Champions League but it is still European football and a stronger, different type of test than you get in Scottish football.

The biggest thing is your concentration levels. You can't afford to slack off at any point when you are playing in Europe or teams will punish you.

I know a lot of managers in England, and I am sure on the continent as well, mix and match their teams for Europa League games and place a greater emphasis on the domestic campaign.

But I don't think Celtic have to do that. I don't think there is a need for it.

So I wouldn't expect that many changes from the side that beat St Mirren in the league on Saturday.

The big thing for me would be seeing Kris Commons back in the team. He missed out at the weekend due to injury and would be a welcome addition to the starting line-up if he is fit enough to play tomorrow.

He is the kind of player Celtic need on the big occasions and someone that can step up to the plate and perform when you need him to.

The fact that Scott Brown is back and has really hit the ground running is a major plus for Ronny as well.

Scott was a huge loss at the start of the season when he was injured. Some people perhaps didn't know how important he was until he wasn't in the side.

The one change that Ronny will have to make is up front. He will be without John Guidetti tomorrow night, which is disappointing.

I have been impressed with him so far and it will be interesting to see how Ronny shuffles his pack now.

John has got a presence about him and has shown that he can put the ball in the net.He is the kind of striker that Celtic have been needing and it will be as disappointing for him as it is for the team that he can't play against Dinamo.

He has started to look like an integral part of the line-up so hopefully the side can adapt to him not being there tomorrow night.
