What was your best European comeback?

As Celtic manager, we lost 2-0 to Sporting Lisbon in a UEFA Cup first leg in 1983. We were dreadful.

But at Celtic Park in the return we blitzed them and won 5-0. The atmosphere was terrific. The Sporting boss was Jo Venglos, who later managed Celtic.
