CELTIC'S run of results - 7-0 against Hearts, 5-0 against Motherwell, 1-6 against Barcelona - appears to highlight the gulf between domestic football and what they come up against in Europe.

I'm not sure the picture is as black-and-white as that. You must deal with whatever is in front of you, and adapt and adjust accordingly.

Mindset is all important, and it has to be right again tomorrow, or Hibs will take full advantage.

With Europe over for the season, Celtic's target has to be completing another league and cup double.

Now, that's never easy to do, even though I reckon they won't be caught in the title race with the lead they have and could even wrap it up sooner than they did last time.

The Scottish Cup could be tougher because they face a difficult tie against Aberdeen, and, as Morton showed, it's possible to catch Celtic having a bad day.

Ironically, they now appear to have learned how to win domestic games either side of big European matches, but the results in the Champions League have not been as good as they were last season.

Now, having failed to progress beyond Christmas, the target must be a domestic double, or the door will be opened for critics to say they are going in reverse.
