I always tend to think you maybe get that more when it has been an internatioanl week and players are away to every corner of the globe. But Celtic played on Tuesday night in Glasgow and, if anything, they'll take a huge lift from the result.
I do think, though, that Neil will have a dilema when it comes to his squad selection.
We all think the European suspension for Scott Brown was excessive but you have to plan for the fact that in all likelihood he will miss the game in Amsterdam.
That means that you really need to keep Beram Kayal ticking over while also getting Joe Ledley a bit of game time now that he is fit again.
Whether or not that means Brown is asked to sit it out remains to be seen since there is another league game still to be played before the flight over to Holland.
But in terms of the SPFL match, I would imagine that Celtic will be keen to get back to winning ways after the draw at Easter Road last weekend.
No-one expects they will meet too much resistance when it comes to winning the title again, but the point is that they have been very consistent this term, even after European matches.
Both the manager and the players will want to keep things ticking over and I'm sure they'll be well up for the game.
