THE Scottish Football Association have begun their investigation into an alleged racial incident between Aleksander Tonev and Shay Logan of Aberdeen.
The case has been passed to compliance officer Vincent Lunny and it will be up to him to decide whether or not any action is taken against the Celtic man after a complaint was made during and after the Parkhead club's 2-1 Premiership win.
Aberdeen have confirmed they have now been contacted by the SFA.
I was at the game and, as yet, we don't know what did or didn't happen. There didn't appear to be any confrontation between the two players at the time, and Tonev denies the allegation.
Sometimes if there is a bit of niggle in the game and things happen then you can see it, but there was no indication that something serious had gone on.
What it boils down to at the moment is one player saying something was said and the other player saying it wasn't said.
What will the outcome be? I don't know. Was something said? I don't know.
Time will tell what happens in this situation and what the true version of events was.
