John Hammill of Springburn asks: Who was the best player you played against?
That would be Johan Cruyff. I played against him for Scotland when we played Holland and for Celtic when we played Ajax. Like all good players, you think you have a handle on him and then, in a moment, he could do something that done you in.
Without doubt he was the most outstanding that I've ever faced. He was definitely something very special.
