Window's a pain for the fans

CELTIC fans will be counting down the hours until the transfer window closes on Monday night, hoping any traffic is in and not out of Parkhead.

Although there is speculation about Kris Commons' future, I can't see him leaving at this point.

I also hope Virgil van Dijk stays until next summer because he will develop further, even without Champions League football.

But that's the dilemma for Celtic because they provide a platform for players to show what they can do, then sell them for a tidy profit.

If that big bid for Virgil does arrive, that Champions League deficit could be at least partially filled.
