Ronny Deila today revealed that Celtic's defeat to Hamilton Accies at Celtic Park this season left a "cut deep in my heart."

The Celtic manager is preparing his side for tomorrow's lunchtime kick-off at New Douglas Park - and he has warned that there will be no complacency from his side.

Alex Neil has just left Accies - with Martin Canning having taken up the reins - and Deila wants to see his team replicate the form they showed in the 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park before Celtic's mid-season break in Gran Canaria.

"We lost 1-0 against Hamilton Accies and we want to bounce back from that," said Deila. "That cut is deep in my heart.

"I don't want to experience that one more time. We are hungry to play now. We know what we want.

"The games are coming up, we are determined and we are really looking forward to it. We have something to prove in every game.

"We have to make an effort in every game. So far have the players have done well.

"We started slowly, but in the last two or three months, we have been good. We have to keep going and then we will see how good Aberdeen are."

And Deila does not expect the loss of Neil to Norwich to have any significant bearing on how tomorrow's game will pan out.

"I think they will have some consistency with what they are doing because the assistant coach has taken over and he knows what is going on.

"He has been there for a very long time and he knows the club. It is not a big change for them."

Derk Boerrigter has returned to training after being sidelined following a knee operation in October, although Tom Rogic remains injured.

James Forrest, Jason Denayer and Mikael Lustig are pushing for fitness, although it may be that the game comes too early for them.

Charlie Mulgrew and Anthony Stokes are expected to return to training next week, while Beram Kayal is fit.
