Ronny Deila will enjoy Sunday's celebrations.

It is the first time he will have had a taste of a league title party when Celtic are handed the league Championship after the game against Inverness. He likes a roar or two and I am sure the Celtic fans will enjoy that on Sunday - and so will he.

But his thoughts will not linger on the game or the season or the party. Even before this weekend's game his thoughts will all be on the qualifiers in mid-July.

They are his biggest priority. Of course, Celtic will always be expected to win the league. They are always going to have to be successful on a domestic front which is why he should make the most of Sunday and enjoy the day with his family.

But his main challenge now is to rectify the events of last summer. In some ways he salvaged a little bit back with the Europa League campaign but it is so important now to try and steer the club properly into the Champions League group stages.

His biggest challenge may well be going into those games with the team he has now. He will already be seeking cover for Jason Denayer who will return to Manchester this summer but there will also be incessant speculation about the future of Virgil van Dijk.

Celtic do not need to sell the player who remains under contract with the club. But, as I have said, before it all comes down to the lad himself and what he wants to do. If he decides that he wants to go it is almost impossible to prevent it and losing both halves of a very strong defensive partnership would be tough to replace given how much Celtic are up against the clock.

They need to be ready to hit the ground running in the middle of July.

While they will want as many players in as possible by then it is fair to say that there will still be plenty of loose ends. It is just imperative that all minds are fully focused on the job in hand.
