The Dutch winger made his comeback at the weekend against Dundee United as he came on for the last 20 minutes in a 1-1 draw.
He returns to the Amsterdam ArenA for tomorrow's crucial Champions League clash.
And he is desperate for Neil Lennon to let him show Ajax what they are missing.
Boerrigter said: "The first year I played for Ajax, I played 21 games and scored ten times - not bad for a winger. My second year wasn't as successful, but everyone knows I had a back injury.
"Everyone at the club is looking forward to it and as a former Ajax player, it will be fun for me. I will see my former colleagues in the dressing room after the game, like I did in the first match."
