Reluctant to come off his line at times and then when he did was saved only by the crossbar. Not found his best form by a long shot yet this season.
MATTHEWS 7 Solid and simple from the Welshman who defended well but also did his bit when it came to driving Celtic forward. One massive goal-line clearance.
AMBROSE 6 Better from the defender, but still capable of causing anxious flutters in the heart of the Hoops defence. Was relatively solid, despite the odd ropey clearance.
LUSTIG 8 One header that was tipped over the bar after just five minutes but overall gave Celtic a solidity at the back that they haven't had this season.
MULGREW 7 Deployed at left-back and got forward often. Some decent crosses into the box and was always looking to press forward.
FORREST 8 One of the finest moments of his career when he netted the £15million winner just as the game was destined for extra-time.
BROWN 7 Hefty challenge on Gediminas Vicius on half-hour mark that he escaped sanction for. Tried to cajole and encourage those around him.
LEDLEY 6 Didn't seem entirely match fit and not the best performance of his Celtic career. Never quite managed to impose himself in the middle of the park.
SAMARAS 8 Industrious contribution from the Greek internationalist who chased, harried and played his part by levelling the tie just after the break. Excellent display in his favoured left-flank role.
COMMONS 8 Was the architect of much of Celtic's forward play and the chances they created, especially in the frantic early stages. Got the goal right on the cusp of the interval to give hope.
STOKES 7 Driving run and cross set up the winner. Came close with a header in the early stages as well as being unlucky with one second-half effort off the bar.
BOERRIGTER 5 Took over from Commons with 12 minutes left. One nice touch.
VAN DIJK 3 On for final, anxious seconds as Celtic hung on to claim their place.
