FORSTER (7) Made a stunning reaction save to deny Fraser Wright but could do nothing to prevent the equaliser.

MATTHEWS (5) Tried to get forward but it was one of those days when it wasn't happening for him.

AMBROSE (5) Failed to put in a dominant performance at the heart of the defence.

WILSON (6) Provided cover for team-mates which was important as many weren't covering themselves in glory.

MULGREW (6) His cross created Celtic's goal and he tried to make something happen.

BROWN (5) Started on the right of midfield before moving inside in the second-half but didn't grab the game by the scruff of the neck as usual.

WANYAMA (6) A special performance is expected every time. He didn't hit the heights but was still one of his side's better performers.

LEDLEY (5) His early substitution would suggest he was struggling through injury.

COMMONS (6) Came close with a couple of long-range efforts but it was an afternoon when it just didn't come off for him.

SAMARAS (5) The striker was back to his frustrating best and didn't cause the St Johnstone defence enough pro blems.

MIKU (5) Failed to re-emerge after the break and you wouldn't known whether that was down to injury or he was just hooked because of the lack of impact he was making. Needs to produce a lot more.

WATT (5) Scored with his first touch of the ball having come on at the interval as he latched on to a Mulgrew cross at the back post to bundle it over the line.

KAYAL (4) Replaced Ledley during the second-half and went close to scoring what would have been the winner for his side, but his shot from the edge of the area sailed over.

McGEOGH (3) Not on long enough to make any sort of impact.
