GO FOR IT says RONNIE CULLY:

THE Hoops passed up one golden opportunity to qualify for the last 32 of the Europa League when they failed to hold on to their lead in Romania.

They would still have another chance if they could not get the necessary result against Salzburg.

However, no-one wants to see this issue go down to the final match in Zagreb, so every effort must be made to seal the deal at Celtic Park.

The disruption to the defence, even if Jason Denayer is declared fit to play, is making it tougher and tougher to envisage a clean sheet against the potent attack of Salzburg.

So, Ronny Deila has to front load the team to keep the ball at the other end of the pitch and get the goals needed.

In the enforced absence of John Guidetti, Anthony Stokes and James Forrest can be key, with Stefan Johansen in the hole rather than Kris Commons, who looks a bit rusty.

TRIPLE WHAMMY says ALISON McCONNELL:

It is the question that will be at the forefront of Ronny Deila's mind this week as he prepares for a critical Europa League meeting that could determine whether or not the Hoops have European football beyond Christmas this year.

And with John Guidetti - who scored his 10th goal in as many starts against Dundee on Saturday - ineligible for the group stage, it is a significant dilemma for the manager how he sets up his side.

Kris Commons returned to the Celtic starting line-up against Dundee this weekend - his first appearance since the beginning of October - and some of the passages of play between himself and James Forrest provided the brightest performances of Celtic's afternoon.

Forrest is slowly returning to fitness and he remains the most creative player in Deila's side. Playing Forrest, Commons and Stokes in an attacking triumvirate would be a bold way to go about getting a result.

Given how shaky Celtic still look defensively, Deila may conclude that attack is the best form of defence as he goes out to plot the win that could see Celtic through with a game to spare.
