CELTIC have struggled to score in this season's Champions League - but must find the net tomorrow night if they are to retain any hope of progressing.

You don't have to delve very deep into the recent history to see the men who have come up with the big goals most often are Georgios Samaras, Kris Commons and James Forrest.

Neil Lennon must find the best line-up and system to put this trio into positions where they can again pull the trigger.

Sami much prefers coming from deep on the left. But, with Anthony Stokes, Teemu Pukki and Amido Balde all failing to convince on the big European stage, the Greek enigma should be asked to convert his away role to Parkhead.

With Commons just behind and Forrest using his pace from wide, the midfield three can sit tight in front of the defence, allowing Mikael Lustig and Emilio Izaguirre to overlap and provide ammo for the attacking trio.

SO what would it take to make them happy: a team of servants feeding them grapes? Rose petals scattered at their feet? Being fanned with palm leaves?

Whatever it needs to get Georgios Samaras and Kris Commons in the mood tomorrow night, it would be worth it.

The pair of them didn't really turn up in Amsterdam, and that's why Celtic didn't either.

Now they need to beat AC Milan and that means using the formation which gives Samaras and Commons the best platform for creating chances.

And if Anthony Stokes is available again, that should mean a 4-2-3-1 with Joe Ledley and Charlie Mulgrew sitting behind James Forrest/Derk Boerrigter on the right, Commons in the middle, Samaras left and Stokes up front. Teemu Pukki has played himself out of the team for now.
