EMILIO IZAGUIRRE'S sights are still firmly set on a Celtic treble - next season.
And the Honduran full-back is willing to do all he can to make sure that dream comes alive after this campaign's bid turned into a Hampden nightmare.
With the League Cup already in the bag and the SPFL Premiership seemingly Celtic's to throw away, all eyes were on the national stadium on Sunday as the Hoops looked to overcome Inverness to ease into the William Hill Scottish Cup final.
Alas it was not to be with a mixture of ropey refereeing and a below-par performance in a 3-2 defeat meaning a delightful double is now the best Ronny Deila's men can hope for.
Izaguirre is focused on making sure that short-term goal is achieved, but he already has one eye on finally clinching a treble under the Norwegian next time of asking.
He said: "It is hard to speak now after Inverness have won. It's in the past and we must now work up the mentality now to win the league.
"Yeah but now it's finished for the treble. We'll try our best to win the league and next season we'll try and win the treble. Now it's finished, everything is finished and we must try our best to win the league.
"To not have a Scottish Cup final to look forward to is so hard. We want to win the treble but now it's over. It's all about winning the league now."
While team-mate Leigh Griffiths pulled no punches in his dressing down of referee Steven McLean and assistant official Alan Muir, Izaguirre was slightly more measured in his criticism.
"It is difficult with 10 men in a semi-final," he said. "Inverness are hungry and maybe more emotional. They controlled the ball and it was hard for us against 11 men.
"I don't like to speak about the referee. It happens in football sometimes when bad decisions and good decisions change the game but it's finished. Inverness won 3-2 and we'll look to Wednesday.
"It's important we move on and work on winning our next game."
