The Bhoys boss is determined to achieve an SPFL Premiership and William Hill Scottish Cup double this season.

Before retaining the core of his current squad for a renewed and successful tilt on Champions League qualification.

Lenny said: "For 2014 I'd like the double. Champions League qualification. And keeping the core of the team, because I think we've got good players here and I think that gets overlooked sometimes.

"There's plenty to motivate me at the minute. If we come out of January with the majority of what I want, then I've got a lot to look forward to in the second half of the season."

Lennon has also revealed that Tony Watt is currently training at Lennoxtown but that he is expecting him to return to Belgian side Lierse for the remainder of the campaign.

The Hoops gaffer said: "Tony has been training here the last couple of days. But he seems to have been made more aware of what he has here, as well as the opportunity he has in Belgium. He is ready to play, whether it is with us or Lierse.

"He probably will spend the rest of the season in Belgium, although we've not had that discussion yet."

Lennon also admitted that Mo Bangura, who has returned from loan at Elfsborg will not be joining Celtic on their trip to Turkey.

The Celtic manager said: "He'll not go to Turkey because we've not got the visa application. He'll stay and play a development game and when we come back he'll join us again.

"But I think he was determined to make his mark here because he hasn't done that. He's played on loan twice so we're hoping that experience has improved him, getting him some game time."

Meanwhile, Lennon is anticipating an improved performance from his men against St Mirren tomorrow.

He said: "We looked really leggy in the last 20 minutes against Partick, mentally as well as physically.

"So with having the extra day off I expect us to have a little bit more about us against St Mirren."
