NEIL LENNON is hopeful his fringe players will grab their chance and stake a claim for regular inclusion if they are given a run in the team in the weeks to come.
The Celtic gaffer has been impressed with how Nir Biton, who started once again in the 1-0 win over Hibs on Saturday, has performed since being drafted in to central midfield.
Lennon said: "Nir is a good footballer. He needs more games and he needs to acclimatise to the pace that we want to play at and the pace of the game here.
"But I think he will do that. Athletically, he is very good. Technically, he is good. There is a lot of scope for him to come on physically. He is only 20.
"He has played pretty well in all of the games that he has been involved in; Ross County, Hearts and Hibs on Saturday. Hopefully that will continue. If any player performs well they will be considered."
