But that doesn't stop the Swede from targeting a victory in Warsaw tonight.

He is buoyed by the attacking style and pressing game Ronny Deila demands, even though it means more work for the players. And he is confident it can be effective against the Polish champions in the white-hot atmosphere of the Pepsi Arena.

The full-back said: "We have played these kind of games for the last two years, but they never get any easier.

"Legia are probably one of the hardest teams we could get, and this is going to be a hard test for us.

"They are a better team than KR Reykjavik, so we will have a different game plan.

"We always want to win the games. But we'd take a draw away and a win at home - as long as we qualify."

Lustig can see the new manager's influence starting to tell, and added: "We're getting better every game, but we're not yet at our best.

"There are a lot of things Ronny wants to do with the team. But, if you try to do everything in a short while, it's maybe too much."
