The Swedes sit second in Group B three points ahead of Austria, their direct rivals for a place in next month's play-offs.
Germany have already booked their place for next summer's finals and Lustig is confident that he can also be a Bhoy for Brazil - if the Swedes triumph tonight.
The defender told the Celtic View: "It's going to feel like a final against Austria but we have a good chance. We are at home and I think we can do it.
"It's important to get the result in the first game because next up Austria have the Faroe Islands and we have Germany.
"If we draw, we sill have a chance, though, because if we then go on to take a point against Germany, we will still finish second in the group. If we lose to Austria, it will be really tough.
"It would mean so much to me. We have all worked hard so it would be a dream to actually achieve it."
