JO INGE BERGET feared his name might not figure in Cardiff's team-list to play the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth in the English Championship.
Now he could be included in a Celtic side aiming to take on some of Europe's elite in the Champions League.
Little wonder the Norwegian striker was flying high even before he boarded the Hoops charter to Poland for tonight's qualifier against Legia Warsaw.
Having just arrived to start his six-month loan on Monday, and training just once with his new team-mates, the 23-year-old knows it might be pushing it to expect inclusion in Ronny Deila's starting XI this evening, though the manager didn't rule it out.
"It's not bad to maybe get a debut in a Champions League qualification. I hope I can make a contribution," said Berget.
"This chance has come up and I hope I can show everyone I'm as good as I think I am."
Deila already knows all about him, having been his manager for 18 months at Stromsgosdet after the-then teenager's attempt to make it with Udinese faltered.
