RATINGS: Brown brings out the best in the rest for Celtic

FORSTER 6 Big man further extended his shut-out record, but only attention-span really tested.

Missed a punch in closing stages.

MATTHEWS 7 Getting back up to full speed after long lay-off. Dribble into area set up Mulgrew opener.

AMBROSE 7 Had to be alert to deal with pace of new loan-Saint Adam Campbell and aerial threat of Steven Thompson. Booked in injury-time for foul on Brady as he broke through.

VAN DIJK 7 Hard to see how the big Dutchman needs a break - seems to stroll through every game.

IZAGUIRRE 6 Inaccurate crossing early on had Lennon unhappy. Clearly listened. Put ball on Commons' head just before break, then an even better cross for third goal midway through second half. Booked late for foul on McGregor.

BROWN 8 Intent on playing on the front foot from the off and taking team-mates with him. Rocket shot tipped over by Kello. Booked for trip on McAusland.

LEDLEY 7 Man to rely on. Stepped back to help defence as Saints attacked in numbers, then joined in to move ball forward, setting up Stokes for second.

MULGREW 7 Unlucky to see shot rebound off post and into keeper's arms after good build-up by Commons. Kept cool in congested penalty box to slot home opener.

FORREST 6 Looked in the mood with early bursts and an audacious nutmeg. Better than in midweek, but still trying to regain best form.

COMMONS 8 Always up for a pass. Fulcrum for transition to attack. Chipped keeper after 31 minutes, but hit the post. Better luck when heading in close-up for third then banging in fourth.

STOKES 6 Given every "encouragement" by the manager to hold ball in. Initally struggled to get better of Darren McGregor, but plugged away and provided clinical finish for second goal.

BOERRIGTER 4 Replaced Mulgrew for last 15 minutes.

BITON 4 On for Brown for last 13.

BALDE 3 Took over from Forrest for final 12. Put through, but dallied and allowed McGregor to clear.
