STEFAN JOHANSEN has a special message to anyone hoping the sheer weight of big matches facing Celtic will shatter their Treble dream:

Bring it on.

The perpetual-motion Norwegian is showing no signs of slowing down as he helps push the Hoops towards a clean sweep of trophies.

And he is revved up and raring to go for Sunday's League Cup Final against Dundee United.

Johansen said: "Games are the most fun thing in football.

"You want to go out there, win games and win trophies.

"We have the chance to win three this year, so it's just fun.

"If we can win the League Cup, it will give us more confidence we can win the two other trophies."

Despite already having played 50 games this term, Johansen is confident he will be more than ready for Sunday.

"In Norway, we play maybe 30 or 35 games," he reflected.

"Now, we play maybe 50 or 60, plus the matches with the national team, as well.

"It's a new thing for me, but I feel fresh, so it's not a problem.

"I'm excited about playing in a cup final. This is a club that wants to win trophies, and I came here to do that.

"The first chance of the season comes now, and we have to make sure we are ready for it."

Johansen is delighted another midfield powerhouse, Scott Brown, is free to line up alongside him at the National Stadium after Compliance Officer, Tony McGlennan, decided the skipper should face no action for his part in last weekend's controversial Scottish Cup clash at Tannadice.

He is also hopeful Virgil van Dijk will have his ban quashed when his appeal for the red card he got on Sunday is heard tomorrow.

Johansen admitted: "Virgil is one of our best players.

"He's such an amazing footballer. Any team would miss him.

"But, that's how football is sometimes, and we have good players who can in in place of him."

Johansen is already convinced Nir Bitton will have recovered from his ankle injury to play.

"I have told him he's going to be fit - so he is going to be fit," smiled the 24 year-old

Whichever players are missing in the run in - he himself is suspended for the Scottish Cup replay a week tonight - the SPFL Player of the Month for February believes Celtic can cope because they strengthened their squad in January, and retained their top stars.

Johansen said: "We're stronger now than we were at the start of the season.

"The key factor is we kept all the players in January and brought in Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven.

"I think that's going to show more the longer the season goes on.

"You are always going to get injuries and suspensions.

"But I'm not worried that this will effect us negatively."
