ZALUSKA (5) The Polish keeper's first competitive start of the campaign.

Dealt with a Dougie Imrie shot comfortably early on, but unable to keep out his match-winning penalty in extra time.

LUSTIG (4) Hardly involved. A player of his undoubted quality should have done far more.

AMBROSE (4) The centre-half had a quiet evening defensively. Gifted the visitors a penalty early in the first period of extra time when he handled the ball.

VAN DIJK (6) Dealt quickly and effectively with what little threat the visitors posed in attack. Decent in the air. Keen to get upfield and attack.

MULGREW (6) The left-back's set-piece delivery was, as ever, excellent. Deserved far better responses from his team-mates. Hit the post in the final minute.

BROWN (5) Played alongside Nir Biton as a defensive midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Was his usual bundle of energy. But he could have channelled his enthusiasm more effectively.

BITON (5) The Israeli's glancing header from a Mulgrew corner early on went just wide. Forced a good save from Caraux in the second half.

McGEOUCH (5) Probed the Morton rearguard relentlessly for an opening. But, like his team-mates, he could find no way through. The youngster was less involved in the second half and was replaced by Adam Matthews.

ROGIC (4) Tucked in just behind lone hitman Teemu Pukki. Hit a volley over the crossbar from the edge of the opposition area on the half-hour mark and had a low shot saved in the second half. Replaced by Anthony Stokes.

BOERRIGTER (5) The Dutchman's clever flick on shortly before half-time nearly created an opening. A succession of crosses into the penalty box from the left wing yielded nothing.

PUKKI (5) Had his work cut out against such defensive opposition. Three players were instantly on top of the Finn whenever he received the ball. Still, he showed composure and control.

Subs: STOKES (2) Brought on to score a goal. Failed to do so. MATTHEWS (2) Took over from Lustig at right-back. Made little difference. COMMONS (3) The most creative player looked most likely to create or score a goal when he came on. But he, too, was to be frustrated.
