Ronny Deila is looking for his Celtic side to be more clinical at Ross County on Saturday as the Hoops seek to bounce back from their Hamilton humbling.

The shock 1-0 defeat by Accies before the international break brought more criticism to the door of the Norwegian, whose side have surrendered 10 points in eight Premiership matches.

Deila pointed to the 6-1 demolition of Dundee United in the second league game of the season when claiming that the Hamilton performance had not been as bad as the result indicated - then urged his players to make amends against the Staggies.

"If you see the stats on the (Accies) game we should have won," said the Norwegian.

"We had 70 per cent of the ball. Of course you don't win games with that but we had 12 big chances.

"We had 11 chances against Dundee United and scored six. Then we had 12 and scored zero.

"So I think if we can continue to create so many chances we will win games. We just need to be more precise and clinical."

Deila insists it is "too early" to be concerned about Celtic's sixth-place league position and brushed away the suggestion that the game against bottom side County was a "must-win" fixture.

He said: "It's never a must-win game. It's not the cup, it's the league and there are many, many games but we want to win.

"We were on a good run. The last game was a setback and we have to bounce back on Saturday."
