CELTIC headed to Austria today without injured defensive duo Mikael Lustig and Adam Matthews.
John Guidetti was also left behind in Glasgow as the squad flew out and will also miss tomorrow's opening Europa League game against Salzburg as his registration was processed too late for him to be included in the Hoops squad for the six group stage ties.
As reported in Monday's Evening Times, manager Ronny Deila is now expected to go with Efe Ambrose at right-back with the continued absence of Lustig and Matthews.
But better news for the Hoops boss was that Scott Brown appears to have shown no reaction after making his comeback from a hamstring tear.
The skipper played for over an hour against Aberdeen at the weekend, and is now in contention to lead the side out in Salzburg, who are odds-on favourites to open Group D with a win over the Parkhead side.
Aleksander Tonev - who is at the centre of racist abuse allegations which are being investigated by the SFA following complaints from Aberdeen - has also travelled to Austria.
