CELTIC were today linked with two more Nancy players, full-back Jean Calve and midfielder Landry N'Guemo.

The Parkhead club are still waiting to hear if Marc-Antoine Fortune will accept their offer to become Tony Mowbray's first buy.

But the striker's team-mates are also reported in France to have caught they eye of the Hoops' scouts.

French under-21 cap Calve has failed to settle since arriving at Nancy on a free last year and spent the second half of last season on loan at Lorient. Blackburn had him on trial in January and were quoted a price of £1million.

N'Guemo has come up through the Nancy ranks, and the 24-year-old Cameroon midfielder has previously interested Hull and Newcastle.

Hull boss Phil Brown, meanwhile, has given Fortune 48 hours to decide if he wants to accept their offer.

Brown has also made enquiries about taking Bosman striker Michael Owen to his club , while Manchester United youngster Frazier Campbell is a possibility.

Fortune remains their No.1 target, though Brown said: "If there's no decision in the next 24 or 48 hours, we're going to have to move on.

"Marc-Antoine has an offer from us and an offer from Celtic, and someone has said something about West Ham."

Elsewhere, as Shunsuke Nakamura prepares to begin the next stage of his career with Espanyol, the man who failed to bring him home to Yokohama has cut his own wages by 50 per cent.

Marinos president Masaharu Saito said: "I regret not being able to fulfil everyone's wishes. I assume responsibility and accept the consequences."

Meanwhile, the way was finally cleared today for reserve team coach Willie McStay to become coach at Hungarian club Ujpest Dozsa.
