CLYDE the Thistle is popping up all around the city, and this time he has sprouted in the West End.

Glasgow's Commonwealth Games mascot has been turned into a giant floral sculpture outside Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum's Argyle Street entrance.

The summer-themed sculpture, provided by local florists, is 4.5m high and weighs more than four tonnes.

Clyde will stand outside one of Glasgow's most famous galleries until the Games end.
