Athletics and closing ceremony
Scotland's national stadium has hosted its fair share of big events over the years, from European Cup finals to Bruce Springsteen concerts. However, Glasgow 2014 could be its greatest event yet.
Athletics is always at the centre of any Commonwealth Games, but the propect of seeing four-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt run on Scottish soil is about as tantalising as it gets. Fans will also have the chance to see some of Team GB's golden heroes, such as Jessica Ennis and Mo Farrah.
At the closing ceremony, meanwhile, Hampden will witness the handover of the Games from Glasgow to the Gold Coast in Australia.
