Rugby Sevens
Ibrox Stadium has been the home of Rangers Football Club since 1899. For the Games the famous football turf will be transformed into a rugby field for the Rugby Sevens event.
With of more than 50,000, it is the third largest football stadium in Scotland, and there is sure to be an electric atmosphere as the Rugby Sevens players take the field.
The Ibrox pitch is surrounded by four covered stands, officially known as the Broomloan, Govan, Copland Road and Bill Struth stands.
But it's not just sporting greats who have graced the field at Ibrox Stadium - music greats including Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart, Elton John and Billy Joel have also played there.
Situated just across the Clyde from Glasgow city centre, Ibrox Stadium is conveniently located on the city's Subway system, allowing easy access for spectators from across Glasgow.
