Redeveloped to the tune of £13.8m, Tollcross is now a world-class swimming venue which caters for swimmers of all levels, from beginners to Olympic medallists.
As part of the refurbishment, a new six-lane, 50m pool to be used for warm-ups by the athletes joins the current 10-lane pool.
Swimming tickets are likely to be among the most in-demand of the Games, and with a 5000 capacity the atmosphere at Tollcross during competition will be electric.
In future, the pools will host other international swimming meets as well as serving as a community pool and leisure centre.
