The "destruction" of North Kelvin Meadow, could take place anytime after today and comes ahead of a proposed sale of the land to a property developer New City Vision.
The land has been derelict for a decade before a group of guerilla gardeners transformed the rubbish-strewn site into a green space used by the community.
Now campaigners say the council wants to bulldoze the land today, a charge which council bosses have denied.
