The 25-year-old singer was "nutmegged" by Rangers manager Ally McCoist when he joined the squad at training yesterday.
Arthur laughed it off after being shown up by the Light Blues' legend, and the pair were all smiles at Rangers' training facility at Murray Park.
Despite his early blunder, Arthur was said to impress with some good touches during the session.
The Impossible singer pulled on his football boots and joined the team in a series of drills ahead of today's game against East Fife at Ibrox.
He was put through his paces as his dad Neil and his entourage watched from the sidelines.
Arthur, who was born in Middlesbrough, was brought up by his Glaswegian dad Neil, who is also a Rangers fan.
The 25-year-old said that training with the squad was a "dream" after hearing stories about club heroes McCoist, Mark Hateley, Brian Laudrup and Paul Gascoigne from his dad.
After being put through his paces at Murray Park, Arthur took to the stage at the city's Clyde Auditorium.
