STUNNED theatre fans witnessed a fairytale come true after a loved-up actor proposed to his co-star girlfriend live on stage.
Thousands of theatregoers were left gobsmacked at the close of Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story, at The Hydro, when Peter Pan popped the question to Wendy.
Dutch actor Sandor Stürbl had the audience cheering as he proposed to Lilly-Jane Young, 22, on Saturday night.
Sandor got down on one knee to pop the big question at the end of the performance.
Lilly-Jane, from Cumbernauld, in Lanarkshire, broke down in tears of joy after Sandor proposed at Glasgow's newest venue.
Proposing, Sandor said: "Jane, the last couple of years I've got to know you and you are the person I want to spend my life with. And therefore, I want to ask you, will you marry me?"
A post on the show's Facebook page said: "What an amazingly special show it was. Peter Pan proposed to Wendy on stage and she said YES!"
The show, featuring The X Factor's Stacey Solomon, is in Glasgow as part of a world tour.
