Avicii tweets Scots band
Scotland's very own Red Hot Chilli Pipers have made people worldwide fall in love with our national instrument, the bagpipes - thanks to a cover version of a little known Avicii song.
The lads covered the DJ's Wake Me Up during Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 breakfast show which was held in Glasgow last week to launch The Big Weekend.
Avicii tweeted the band's cover out to his followers and now the song has become a YouTube hit with over a million views.
The group are also climbing the iTunes chart with the version they have released. Have a listen here, we think this is the best thing we have heard all year -
Sharon's pooch is bootiful
We all know Sharon Osbourne has a lot of very cute animals so imagine our excitement when she posted this picture of Princess Bella on Twitter. She tweeted, "Aw poor @PrincessBellaO! She went to the doctor and they shaved her fur. Now she has a drumstick legs!" We think she is bootiful as Bernard Matthew (producer of drumsticks) would say. Although we are worried about that mention. Does the dog does have its own Twitter account? Has the world gone barking mad?
Strictly Come Selfie
Strictly Come Dancing stars former Westlife singer Nicky Byrne and ex-rugby star Ben Cohen posted a picture of themselves on Twitter, 'chillin' when the show came to Glasgow's SSE Hydro last week. We wouldn't mind 'chillin' with these two hunks, right ladies?
A listers share pizza
You would think this was an Oscars after party. But is just a random evening in New York City. Lenny Kravitz tweeted, at Joe's Pizza with Leo and Coop, as you do. Could you imagine walking in for a slice of pizza, and standing before you is Kravitz, Leonardo Di Caprio and Bradley Cooper? It is the stuff that dreams are made of.
Lady goes Gaga over Britney
Popstar Lady Gaga took time out of her busy schedule to see Britney Spears's new show in Las Vegas. She tweeted a picture ahead of the show, "On my way to #BritneyBitch in #Artpopstyle long blond hair, androgynous wear." Perhaps she was looking for inspiration ahead of her own tour which comes to Glasgow's SSE Hydro in October.
Selfie first, face wipes later
A gorgeous Michelle Keegan manages to take a selfie while sleeping - any ideas how she did that? The Coronation Street actress tweeted this picture and said, "Just got in from a PA. I'm up in 5 hours but I can't be bothered moving! Where's the facewipes #effort." We just can't feel sorry for you Michelle when you look that good!
Katherine loves the Superbowl
Katherine Jenkins met the Statue of Liberty. Yeah we know that could never happen but she posed with a 'person' who was dressed as the famous tourist attraction for Superbowl Sunday. We are just gutted they never gave Katherine the half-time slot at the show, she would have been amazing!
Hello, I need a appointment at the hairdressers ASAP?
We expected hairdressers across the world are being inundated with calls from women panicking all because Kim Kardashian has gone back to her more natural colour. We love Kimmy whatever colour she embraces but her hair darker is just gorgeous. Welcome back lady!
A dapper looking Danny Dyer posted this picture on Instagram ahead of his appearance on The Jonathan Ross show. He said: "#jonathanross clobber, whistle & brogue trotters!" We are not sure what he is talking but he looks great. Watch Danny tell a ghost story on the show here -
We have a lot of love for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristano Ronaldo - and it seems they do for each other too. We spotted a bit of a bromance between the pair on Twitter. Ibra tweeted Ronnie to say he had sent him a gift for his birthday, and a shy and retiring Cristano said, "It will look better on me than you though." We can't help but laugh!
