Three members of girl group The Saturdays are battling it out for the title of Celebrity Mum of the Year.

Bandmates Frankie Sandford, Una Foden and Rochelle Humes are all among nominees for the accolade.

Other celebs in the running for Disney's Celebrity Mum of the Year 2014 include Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden.

TV presenters Emma Willis, actress Denise Van Outen and singer Michelle Heaton are also among the names voted for by the public in a series of open nominations online, as is Davina McCall who last week finished a 500-mile challenge to travel from Edinburgh to London for Sport Relief.

However, some of last year's nominees have slipped off the list, including model and mother-of-four Katie Price and singer Adele.

Saturday Sandford, 25, is the newest mum on the list, having welcomed son Parker with footballer fiance Wayne Bridge just four months ago. Bandmate Foden, 32, became a mum to daughter Aoife in 2012 and Humes, 24, and her JLS star husband Marvin Humes became parents to daughter Alaia-Mai last May.

Last year's winner, Spice Girl and mother of two Emma Bunton said: "This award is extra special as it's voted for by you the British public, and of course is about the most important thing - being a mummy."

Voting is now open on the Disney For Mums UK Facebook page.
