Chat host Graham Norton is to publish a new memoir chronicling the loves of his life.

The new book by the BBC1 and Radio 2 presenter will be published later this year and comes a decade after his autobiography.

Publisher Hodder & Stoughton said his new book, The Life And Loves Of A He Devil, was a "funny and honest memoir on the theme of love".

"From Dolly Parton and dogs to wine and Ireland, Graham tells his life and loves with characteristic humour and outrageous candour," the firm said.

The book will come out in October in time for the all-important Christmas market which usually sees a rush of celebrity biographies.

Norton said: 'It's been 10 years since I last put fingertip to keyboard. A lot has happened to me since then but being a decade older it strikes me that what makes a life interesting is less what happens to you but more what drives and inspires you. A life of loves.

"When I say this is the most personal thing I've ever written, don't worry it also contains stories about mystery objects found in dog poo and celebrity actress farts."
