Lily Allen is to play her first headline show for four years in April, as she prepares to release her comeback album.

The singer will perform at London's Shepherd's Bush on April 28, her first major show since she took a break from the music business after a gig at the O2 Arena in 2010.

Allen will also be building up to huge crowds in the summer with a performance at Glastonbury Festival already in her diary for late June.

The chart star will release her third album Sheezus on May 5 and has already made an impact with recent singles including her cover of Keane's Somewhere Only We Know which went to number one.

Allen, 28, spent the intervening years working on a fashion business and spending time with her two children.
